Customer Master

Definition:

  • A customer master is a centralized database used by both sales and accounting departments in an organization, containing customer information such as name, address, contact details, payment details, and sales details.

  • The customer master is divided into three views: general data, company code data, and sales area data.

General Data:

  1. Relevant for sales & distribution and Accounting

  2. Valid for all organizational units

Company Code Data:

  1. Relevant for accounting

  2. Valid for company code

Sales Area Data:

  1. Relevant for sales & distribution and Accounting

  2. Valid for sales organizational, distribution channel, division

XD04 - Change log in Customer master

XD05 - Blocking/Unblocking the customer master

XD06 - Customer flag for deletion

XD07 - Changing the customer from one group to another account group
